Patient Education: Low-Dose CT Screening
Abstract
Low-dose computerized tomography scans have come into play as effective screening modality for high-risk patients in the most deadly cancer nationwide. The introduction of this screening option requires a larger amount of patient education on their methodology, benefits and drawbacks, and effectiveness. A patient education brochure was produced for this purpose.
