Abstract
Assesses the feasibility of Anaerobic Digestion technology (AD) and its role as a means of meeting the University of Vermont's waste and energy goals. Begins with an introduction to AD technology, its various uses and benefits. Goes on to discus several case studies from the New England region. Concludes by assessing the feasibility of a project on campus at UVM. Presents alternative means for meeting UVM's renewable heating goals such as investing in renewable natural gas.
