Abstract
Pnictogen hydrofunctionalization is vital in synthetic chemistry for its diverse applications in pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. With rising demand, efficient synthesis methods are urgently needed. This work will explore the expansion of hydrofunctionalization, aiming to adhere to the principles of Green Chemistry, prioritizing atom-economy and energy efficiency.1 The methodologies employed in this work focus on the use of light-driven processes to facilitate the introduction of pnictogen-containing groups onto various organic substrates. Pnictogen hydrofunctionalization offers a versatile and sustainable approach to organic synthesis, with broader applications across different fields, making it an important area of current organometallic research.
