Abstract
The theory of practice has been an increasing branch off of Anthropology as it involves the interactions between the scholar and the community of work. Practicing Anthropology encompasses the importance of working with community members and connecting with individuals as a means to make a social and academic impact in society. In terms of my experiences in Burlington, Vermont, I have had the fortunate opportunity to work and create a network of community organizations, educators and youth to identify issues in the community and provide anthropological aspects to the solutions available. My research paper is about my Practicing Anthropology experience working with youth and families in Burlington, Vermont.
