Abstract
Using photos and known archaeological reviews in ancient structures, use of space is highly regarded by ancient native populations. Pottery making was practiced throughout the North American South-West and was used for multiple purposes ranging from storage, ritual, cooking, and social networking. By studying the area where pottery is found social constructs such as use of space become apparent. Social constructs associated with pottery is what creates culture. Studying where ancient Native Americans stored their pottery would give deeper understanding on how they lived their lives daily.
