Abstract
This paper explores the intersection of crisis, innovation, and resilience. The authors conducted semi-structured interviews with members of the Vermont Everyone Eats taskforce, an organization that sprang up amidst the Covid-19 pandemic as an innovative solution to addressing both food insecurity and restaurant shut-downs. Based on a thematic analysis of the interviews, the authors argue that the VEE program reflects innovation as resilience product and resilience process during crisis. Authors will conclude by describing how this intersection impacted quality of life of Vermonters during the Covid-19 pandemic.
