Abstract
This presentation explores whether Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) is included in the core curriculum of diversity courses at a university level. Through conducting in-depth interviews with professors and student surveys, I will be able to research and examine knowledge gaps through different educational approaches. The findings will help inform future curriculum development to enhance awareness and discourse on FGM in academic settings. By identifying areas where FGM education is lacking, this study aims to contribute to broader discussions on integrating critical global health and human rights issues into higher education.
