Abstract
Gait analysis, the systematic study of human locomotion, can be utilized in various applications such as rehabilitation, clinical diagnostics, and sports. However, gait analysis technologies have been practically limited by extensive cost, setup and processing times and lack of portability. This study aims to assess performance (i.e. reliability and validity) of the TekScan F-scan64®, a more portable and affordable system, as compared to traditional AMTI force plates for gait analysis in young healthy adults. Data analysis is currently ongoing.
