Abstract
Secondhand smoke and vape exposure remains a significant public health concern in Vermont, despite declining smoking rates. Vulnerable groups, including children and pregnant individuals, are at a higher risk for respiratory illnesses, cardiovascular diseases, and other serious health issues. This project aims to create an educational pamphlet for clinical use to raise awareness of these dangers, promote smoke-free environments, and encourage behaviour change. By providing access to cessation resources, the initiative seeks to reduce exposure and improve community health outcomes.
