Abstract
An educational intervention was conducted at a primary care center in Connecticut, where exercise-focused pamphlets were distributed to patients diagnosed with osteopenia and osteoporosis. All participants (7/7) completed the survey. The intervention improved patients' understanding of beneficial exercises and their confidence in performing them, with 71% reporting intention to implement these exercises into their routine. Despite 86% of participants having a fear of falling, all felt well-equipped to begin the recommended exercises. This highlights the need for future programs that specifically address fall prevention alongside bone health exercise.
