Abstract
This study tracked patterns in the second year of plant succession in Riparian Forested Buffers. Plant diversity was compared between restored plots inoculated and uninoculated with endemic mycorrhizae and to unrestored control plots. Data was collected through plant surveys on the survival of restoration plantings and the number and identity (native, exotic, invasive) of newcomers. This provided insights into the success of the restoration effort in increasing diverse pollinator habitat, Abenaki utility, and resilience of the buffer.
