UVM has a Green Building Policy

Abstract
In 2005, UVM appointed a green building coordinator and adopted a green building policy whereby all new construction and major renovation projects on campus must use the LEED guidelines of the U.S. Green Building Council. The Davis Center has LEED Gold certification, and the Aiken Center has LEED Platinum certification.
