Abstract
Investigative Genetic Genealogy (IGG) is a growing field in Forensic Science and criminal investigations. IGG involves analyzing DNA to infer distant relationships and then using classic ancestry techniques to make identifications. This infographic discusses how unique genetic identifications are made in criminal investigations and the similar techniques used for consumer genetic testing.
