Abstract
This project addresses medication nonadherence due to cost in a primary care setting. Through discussions with a pharmacist and clinic staff, key barriers identified included limited patient awareness, low health literacy, and the complexity of medication pricing. In response, a concise, patient-friendly guide was developed highlighting cost-saving strategies and Connecticut-specific resources. This intervention aims to support both patients and providers in navigating medication affordability and improving access to essential therapies.
