Abstract
ONC-201 is the founding member of a class of compounds named impiridones and is currently in Phase III clinical trials. ONC-201 appears to possess strong anti-cancer abilities even in gliomas with H3K27M mutations that are typically more resilient to treatment. Unfortunately, there has been limited research studying the short-term and long-term effects of ONC-201 and the impact of succinylation on H3K27M. This research aims to provide an understanding of the consequences of ONC-201 on cognition, memory, and the microbiome in a mouse model and what influence succinylation of H3K27M may have in tumor proliferation.
