Abstract
This project aims to understand the challenges faced by mobile home park (MHP) residents in accessing home repair and stabilization funding in Vermont. The state's funding system is complex, with various programs offered through different agencies, non‑profits, and community networks. MHP residents face even more constraints due to eligibility guidelines and program restrictions. The pandemic has highlighted the importance of mobile homes as well as their vulnerability, leading to a shift in perception within housing organizations. An evaluation of existing programs through stakeholder and resident interviews revealed the need for application specialists, better communication between programs, and more flexible spending guidelines for mobile homes.
