Abstract
The characteristic timescale of the transient current decay is an indicator of the underlying charge transport and relaxation mechanisms in perovskite solar cells. In this experiment, a solar cell was subjected to a bias voltage in the dark. Upon removal of the bias voltage, we measured the resulting transient current, which provides insights into the dynamics of charge carriers within the solar cell. A transient current that persists longer than the electron-hole recombination timescale strongly indicates that mobile ionic species are the primary source of the response. By integrating this current, we obtained a measure of the accumulated charge.
