Abstract
This study investigates the impact of humidity on the performance and degradation of the perovskite thin film solar cells. Employing absorbance and reflectance optical-near infrared spectroscopy, we analyzed the characteristics of the absorber layer under standard humidity conditions of 85% relative humidity and 20 °C. Our findings reveal that both cells and thin films degrade in humid environments, with degradation rates exhibiting considerable variability based on the fabrication methods. Moreover, we have developed a database for solar testing data. This research underscores the importance of understanding the humidity-induced degradation in perovskite solar cells for advancing their long-term performance and reliability.
