Abstract
Steroids are used frequently in the medical world to treat inflammation, autoimmune diseases, and replace hormones, yet they get such a bad reputation when it comes to muscle enhancement. Why? This is because of the changes that steroids make to the genes responsible for muscle growth and skeletal structure. in other words, steroids have the ability to permanently alter DNA. But, are these alterations beneficial, harmful, or neutral to the human body?
