Abstract
Postpartum mood disorders are common, potentially disabling, and treatable conditions. Screening aids improve access to early intervention and significantly reduce cost burden. This project describes the standardization of screening for postpartum mood disorders and the development of a flyer to help patient differentiate between expected and worrisome mood symptoms after childbirth in a rural medicine clinic.
