Chocolate Consumption in Chittenden County, Vermont
Abstract
Chocolate is perhaps the greatest invention mankind has every created. Recent research indicates that citizens of the Chittenden County area of Vermont in particular are suffering from a lack of adequate chocolate intake. Despite close proximity to the Ben and Jerry’s Factory in Waterbury, Vermont and local options such as Lake Champlain Chocolates, many citizens still suffer from chocolate withdrawal symptoms. This research project was designed to assess the amount of chocolate intake of the greater Chittenden County area. Our findings suggest more could be done to increase chocolate consumption across Vermont.
