Presentation Title

Descent with modification in vertebrate skeletal anatomy

Abstract

More and more people like to raise animals and get used to being accompanied by animals. However, few people would think about the animals’ body structures hidden under the skin. Therefore, the bone skeletons of different animals are preserved so that people can have the closer look. At first sight, people would know that the most significant differences between these skeletons are the size and shape, but they would find some similarities and slight differences if given certain time to observe. This poster would provide images of bone skeletons from different vertebrates, including the cat, frog, bat, bird and so on. In addition, some professional knowledge would be introduced to explain the fundamental principle of evolutionary history and address the aspects of similarities and differences between species.
