Student Research Conference (AX Fellowship)
Conference Year
January 2022
Abstract
As AX Fellows, my research partner and I participated in multiple research projects across many farms led by our mentors Vic Izzo and Scott Lewins. Entomology was at the forefront of these projects so we were able to become well versed in scouting and setting up biological controls. In addition to fieldwork (set-up and data collection), we were also able to get in some lab work by using a microscope and entering data into excel. Finally, we built strong connections with our peers in weekly group check-in meetings.
