Abstract
This project tracks a year-long journey to uncover and replace ableist leadership practices learned over my 15-year career in environmental non-profits. Using the Celtic Wheel of the Year as a guide, I explore ritual, creativity, and rest as methods for transforming my relationship with my own body and identifying tools to build more humane non-profit cultures.
What emerges is a peacemaking process with my ancestors and the beginnings of new practices that support our human bodies as we navigate the beauty and heartbreak of change work.
This is a beginning.
